Jaaims to roll out new trading functionality and ETF investments on its AI platform
7th December, 2021: Jaaims, Australia’s only true AI trading app, has today rolled out a platform upgrade that will give its rapidly growing number of traders access to ETFs for the first time, in addition to a host of new functionality.
In response to a surging interest in ETFs amongst retail investors, from December 8th customers on the Jaaims platform will also be able to diversify their portfolio by trading ten ETFs:
- BetaShares Crypto Innovators ETF (ASX: CRYP)
- iShares ASX 200 ETF (ASX:IOZ)
- iShares US S&P 500 ETF (ASX:IHVV)
- iShares MSCI World ETF (ASX:IHL)
- iShares MSCI Emerging Markets (ASX:IEM)
- Vanguard Australian Shares High Yield ETF (ASX:VHY)
- iShares AU Treasury ETF (ASX:IGB)
- iShares AU Corporate Bond ETF (ASX:IAF)
- iShares Global Corporate Bond ETF (ASX:IHCB)
- Vanguard AU Property ETF (ASX:VAP)
From the same date traders will also be able to customise Jaaims’ flagship Smart Portfolio, a multi-strategy growth portfolio targeting an annual return of 10 percent per annum over a rolling five-year period. After this latest upgrade, customers will be able to exclude stocks by ESG risk sectors and /or ESG ratings as well as being able to exclude individual stocks, and set parameters to target specific sectors they are interested in. Jaaims’ AI will use these all parameters to provide stock recommendations based on its algorithm.
Currently Jaaims is the only AI platform available to traders in Australia. Its technology can analyse a single stock or ETF in 73 seconds, with real-time data every 15 minutes. Using artificial intelligence, Jaaims can analyse over 10 million pieces of data daily, using over 250 different data points to generate stock recommendations.
Jaaims has amassed more than 3,000 customers since launching in 2020. Jaaims’ customers manage their share portfolio using the AI based trading algorithm, delivered on a low-cost subscription service through their mobile device.
Founder, Tui Eruera commented, we will constantly evolve Jaaims to give our customers the best possible conditions for trading. Sometimes this means we will innovate how we analyse stocks and other times like today we deliver our vision on how we think ETFs should be used as part of the Jaaims investing strategy.
Eruera adds further, in my view, ETF strategies pushed by pocket investing apps are fraught with risks, especially with growing inflationary concerns. Having Jaaims active AI equity strategy coupled with ETF’s can help to limit risk whilst delivering diversified exposure to multiple asset classes.
